Our founder, Ronald Chong, has an extensive background in the world of fine gems and antiques. He studied Gemology at the prestigious Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A), where he earned his diploma in gemology. He is now a proud Fellow of Gem-A, bringing a wealth of expertise in gemstones and precious materials. Additionally, Ronald holds a Certified Diamond Grader diploma from the Hoge Raad voor de Diamant in Antwerp, one of the world’s foremost authorities on diamonds.

Specializing in antique and bronze sculptures, particularly Grand Tour souvenirs, Ronald has a keen eye for rare and exquisite pieces. Over the years, he has built a reputation for curating unique collections, with a focus on pieces that tell stories of timeless craftsmanship.

For many years, we operated a boutique in the famous Nieuwe Spiegelstraat in Amsterdam, a street known for its rich history and charm. Now, we’ve expanded our passion into Ronald Antiek & Brocante, a refined store offering a beautiful range of antiques, vintage, and contemporary design.
